Monica D. Livingston is the Director of Education and Head Instructor for Metropolitan CPR Training Academy. Monica is an educator, retired professional athlete, motivational speaker and the leader of the most engaging CPR training company on the East Coast. She was named COMCAST SportsNet Funniest Sports Celebrity in Washington - Champion in 2005 and runner-up in 2008.Monica had had several guest appearances on local radio and TV. She is also widely known for her work educating parents and teachers on ADHD and was featured in The Washington Post’s OnBeing web series discussing how many children feel experiencing ADHD in the classroom. She has led many workshops and seminars on ADHD, Classroom Management and Behavior Modification Techniques throughout the Metropolitan area. Monica is passionate about helping youth as evident from her work as Executive Director of The Empowering Center in Washington, DC. The Center provides assistance in academic remediation, career readiness, counseling and life skills training for at-risk youth. In addition to this work Monica has started a campaign to certify 5,000 individuals at no charge. These individuals are trying to re-enter the workforce, are battling poverty and cannot afford the certification. Many of these individuals are unable to gain or begin employment until they are certified.These classes are made possible through the community partnership and sponsorship program that Monica spearheads. Melissa Upperman is an energetic instructor who brings years of medical experience to all of her classes having previously worked in the Ophthalmology field and at the Georgetown Center for Eye Sight. She is a business owner and entrepreneur who has successfully balanced raising 4 children while cultivating her business endeavors. Her specialty is Pediatric CPR and First Aid. Charmane Hamilton graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. After graduating she sought a career in working as a contractor with FPS doing physical security full-time while doing make-up part time. She then realized that she loved interacting with people and the community and wanted to give back by mentoring youth. She also decided to expand her talent with makeup by becoming a skin care specialist and taking classes at the AVEDA Institute where she was able to practice esthetics. Charmane is now a full-time make up artist and often gives back by teaching CPR and First Aid with her husband. 

Abby is Attorney and Teacher who hails originally from Lagos Nigeria. Abby enjoys singing (which you just might hear during one of her classes) sports and swimming. As a classroom teacher she is a perfect choice for your next CPR Class.
